Installed a kn air filter off the MAF, new 160 tstat and housing, 36 lb fuel injectors racetronix injector harness with ttc chip. 200 amp alt and hallowed the cat. Way different car.

Put a/c back in the car , all new lines, compressor, dryer, orifice and condensor. Also put a new heater core with new lines and heater control valve.

Put two new Dorman upper control arms on the GN. I've had them about two months now and after the test drive I am kicking myself for not doing it sooner! Mine had the obligatory burned out bushing by the downpipe. The car developed a pull and didn't ride as nice as it should. I'll take it for an alignment but it tracks straight now and rides much better.

Oh, changed the oil too.

Pulled the front bumper off and what was left of the front fillers. Got to get a new support and a turn signal housings as they were all cracked on the back side. So it may be a few weeks before it goes back together.

Put an air freshner in my 87 T type. It probably won't help much but I have to start somewhere. Last week I rewired the Scanmaster and the Vacuum/Boost gauge. Well somehow I managed to overload the 14 ga. wire and it filled the car with smoke. I pulled over and yanked the smoldering wires out. A few days later I went out to the garage to clean up the mess and the idiot lights were glowing. So off came the access panel and there was a bare wire laying across a heavier orange wire. I have to stop grabbing hot wires with bare hands. Other than the stink, no damage was done except the funny little lines on my fingers. Now I have to figure out how to get rid of that bad smell.

First time ever using a DA, with guidance from my detailing GN buddy over the phone I did it! 2 times with meguires 105, once with 205, and finished up with #26 wax. Clay barred it too before all this. I'm beat!

Showing it tomorrow. Hoping to place top 20 pit of 250ish cars.

Finally put the recovered sun visors in that the upholstery shop lost for 5 months, and gave a full wipe down with the turtle wax black detailer. Sitting here having a beer and looking at the hood bulge and thinking you are one bad mother f###er. These are some mean looking cars! Will take it out and stretch it's legs in the morning!

I finally got around to installing an AEM wideband in my TTA. Also, cleaned the engine bay up a little bit.

I have been trying some different things on my e-85 for about a year and not happy that it puffs blue smoke sometimes so today I found one cylinder down on compression a little after a check, so I plan to install a spare engine this weekend so I can deal with the other one on the engine stand.

May be a somewhat extended weekend since unusual rain here has cancelled our racing plans, and will slow the R&R process somewhat?

Took out turbo, intercooler and power steering pump. Installing a braided rubber hose for turbo drain amd figuring out why my ps fluid leaked all over the place, including coating the whole hood pad. No hard lines or hoses punctured. Im lost. Reservoir does not seem to be cracked either.

Nick, sorry to hear about the blue smoke. Looks like you'll be quite busy this weekend. Appreciate the rain while it's there. I bet you'll sleep like a baby while the rain is hitting the roof of you home with the window cracked. At least I do....

Changed out the injectors and replaced the chip with new ones from Turbotweak.

Started my NVU gauge installation that I have put off since early spring. This is the hardest project I have done in a long time.

Started installing my Razor's Alky Injection kit today after returning from a Cars and Coffee get together here in Carlsbad, CA. I think I will do the install in three different parts tho, taking my time on it.

Anyhow, today I mounted the Alky pump which is a huge (PIA) on a TTA doing it by oneself. I also Installed the Alky Tank, lines, and ran the power wire to the inside of the car.

Another big day tomorrow finishing up the complete under dash wire install.... Hopefully.
