What does a stock 87 GN dyno at?

I know the TTA was underrated from factory because of the corvette ! But i dont know if the GN was underrated.:)

My GN last year

at the dyno my 87 did....

rear wheel numbers of course....

223.3 hp @4000 rpm
293.2 tq @ 4000 rpm.

The dyno guy said about 21% loss through the drivetrain so that is about
282.65 hp and 390.93 tq at the flywheel.

All I had that wasn't stock was a K&N in the STOCK housing and at test pipe.

Was that with the stock, non-adjustable WG rod and factory chip?

Thanks,

Nope.

Red Armstrong 93 chip and 16 lbs of boost.

So not completely stock but pretty darn close.

Another stock motor

I dynoed mine last year and got the following. My car is basically stock.

233 hp @ 4250 RPM
329 ft.lb @ 3100 RPM

My car had a home made cold air kit. A Thrasher chip. Stock Catalytic Converter and Hooker exhaust.

I was just worried because with a T92 and 16psi or so I figured I wasn't far from your stock numbers based on my Gtech Pro results. I'm a rookie tuner, but I was hoping I didn't totally suck at it!

Thanks,
Tom
