What does the center console connector that plugs into dash harness look like?

I have owned my GN for almost 20 years now. I am in the process of putting it back together.
One of the things that really irked me was that the previous owned had cut the original plug off the console harness.
The main power wire for the console was tagged to the gray wire of the ash tray light connector (the one under the dash for a conventional slide out ash tray) with a scotch lock.
Can someone explain or (even better) post pictures of what the original connectors are supposed to look like? I really would like to put it back to the way it is supposed to be.
Thanks!

The blue scotchlock was correct! Crazy and crude...but the way it was.

Really? That is crazy! I have a harness from an 87 Cutlass console and it had an actual connector! I figured they might be the same as the consoles themselves were very similar.

regal console was just a scotch lok on the gray wire that went to the ash tray lamp socket (no bulb in that socket)

Cutlass used a connect prob because there were two circuits...
Also, I believe Buick used the olds console and olds had more R&D time.
