What do the inside of your quarter panels look like?

Both my quarters were painted when I got the car. Never been a problem. I decided to clean things up in there. Someone sprayed rubberized undercoating in mine and I have never liked it. I warmed it with a hair dryer and scraped it right off. Then I washed it with kerosene and then thinner. Sanded it down and sealed the lower portion with Rust Seal. I want to put it back closer to stock. It looks like there was gray primer with a flat black coating sprayed over it, perhaps a sound deadener.

I would appreciate seeing someone's untouched trunk to get an idea of how to go back to almost original.
