I've gotten country star Aaron Tippin to personally sign my Aaron Tippin CD. Also met him in person.

After that, some of the 80's hair metal bands made an appearance at Ft. Bragg.....Stephen Pearcy (Ratt), Don Dokken (Dokken), all of the members of Firehouse, and I think Kip Winger....got all of them to autograph my Metal Malia CD's.

A few bands that most of you have never heard of, but my mom has some cool stuff. Bob Dylan and she has a hand written letter to her from Bobby Kennedy.

as a porter when i used to park cars at the colonial golf tourney.drove a few from DFW airport to the local hotel or a buddies house around the country club. took rocco mediate to a local chiropractor, couldn't meet a nicer guy. talk about some humble guys that seem like regular old folk. then you have some greg normans in there too.

Datant69

I lived in Arlington for 11 years and went to Colonial a few times. I caught all of the old guys at a senior tour event there.

a ton of past nhra drivers, garlits, shirley m. jeb allen, ed McCulloh, iaconio& allen, lee shepard, bob glidden, wally booth, bill jenkins, sox&martin, john lingenfelter, force, the snake & the mongoose, raymond beadle, don nicholson but my most prized is singer, song writer, poet and lyricist Steven Patrick Morrissey formerly of the 80's group The Smiths

I have two autographed Michael Jordan pictures and one card, one Frank Thomas aka "The Big Hurt" picture, one Pete Rose picture that Pete was nice enough to sign to me at his restuarant down here, and one Spider Man comic book that was signed by Stan Lee. Oh yeah, also I have a basketball that my dad's buddy got signed by the Philadelphia 76ers when Charles Barkley was playing for them.

My wife has an autographed original Joe Namath jersey. For you old timers, we have a signed picture of Three Dog Night from a meet and greet after their show. My son and I had lunch with Dale Earnhardt and Richard Childress. Castrol set us up with a meet and greet at John Forces' trailer with Mr. Force and Tony Pedregon. (probably wouldn't be so good today, would it.) For you golfers, I was on the crew for the McDonalds Kid's Classic in Malvern, PA back in the 80's. From Thursday to Sunday we did crowd control stuff. "Quiet please" signs around the greens and fairways. It always amazed me how those girls could rip the ball as far as they do. I have pic's to back all autographs except Namath's.

I have only acouple ... john force on a brooks rod conected to a vanola piston

jimmie johnson

cale yarborol on one of those note books that teach you how to write ..... he was mowing beside his house an my dad stoped him to sign my book ... he said sir im sorry how bad was it ... he thought he hit my dads new truck :D
I got Dale Jarret to sign my hat ... took him abt 3 minutes he was umm yeah at a bar ... ward burton signed the same hat too. was ryan newmans rookie yr he was walking out of the bar with his head down while i was walking in.

I have a metal funny car model signed by John Force a few years back when they called the NHRA race in Baytown the Fram Nationals. My son has a signed lifesize cardboard poster of Eddie Hill. I met Kenny Duttweiller at his shop but didn`t get his signature when I worked for Conley`s Performance Plus back in the '90s.

oprah, carl weathers (apollo creed), antron brown , larry dixon, john force, don prudhomme, tony schumacher, kenny bernstein, gino scali, warren johnson , ed mcculloch and many other NHRA drivers. i see a lot of celebs here in vegas but i wont go after them thanks to the paparazzi.

my prized possesion that is signed

is my jordan jersey signed framed and with COA, also have one of pudge rodriguez when he was with the rangers. i have a ton of stuff, way to much to list. i collect alot, but i have to verify the COA's, too many fakes out there.

Wayne Gretzky (NY Rangers)

Bobby Orr (Boston Bruins)

Paul Kariya (Anaheim Mighty Ducks)

David Little (Pittsburgh Steelers) - my dad worked with him at United Airlines on the baggage ramp. He died a little while ago in a workout accident where he dropped the bench press bar on his neck.

OJ McDuffie (Miami Dolphins!)

the guys from Rancid:
Tim Armstrong
Lars Frederiksen
Matt Freeman
Brett Reed

I think i had Dennis Anderson (Grave Digger) sign something when i was a little kid...i'm sure if I looked I could find it somewhere.

and Larry Brown, yes Larry(who)Brown..he was MVP of Super Bowl XXX.
all of us in pittsburgh know who he is

as far as my own signatures... i have a different view on this.. I work in professional sports so i am around pro athletes a lot.. When and if i get signatures i ask them to personalize it to me. Athletes are hesitant to sign for people who wish to make money off their name.. personally if they can help a guy make a buck they should oblige but if they see you want a signature for ur own collection they are more than happy to sign. To me i put autograph chasers right up there with other scums of society like meter maids... :D grown men running after 24 year old guys to get a signature is lame...waiting outside the ball park is for the kids. its the same grown men all the time too...all are 40 year old virgin types , dont have a good grasp of what life is really like... etc etc..

I would rather walk up to a guy and shake his hand and get my picture with him than get an autograph.

i would have to say thou that my Doc Watson Signature on my Hurst Olds is something i value.. I would like to get linda vaughn on there as well.
