What filter for W/A injection sys.

I am putting a W/A injection system together and need to know what fuel filter I need to use. I am going to filter the water going into the pump (Shur-flo) and the line is 3/8". I noticed that carb. fuel filters are good to 10 PSI but my filter will be on the vacuum side. Can I use a fuel filter for a carb application or do I need a fuel injection filter?

I'm trying to save money by not buying a "water injection" water filter from a speciality company. I'd like to goto Pep-Boys or autozone.

I just used a Fram metal fuel filter also. Here's a pic of my installation. http://www.buickgn.com/alkypump2.jpg

My pump is mounted underneath the pass side headlights. You don't have to worry about the pressure as the filter is mounted on the intake side of the pump.
