The temperature dropped into the 40’s and I thought it would be fun to take the gn out for some errands. When I got in the dome light did not come on. I popped the hood and no hood light either. I figured the battery was probably dead, but it was fine. When I started the car it had lost the radio stations and time. Every time I turn the car off the clock starts over and radio stations are gone. No dome or hood light.

What went wrong and what should I check?

Thanks in advance and the gn ran awsome in the cold. Lots of rubber left on the raod tonight.

i agree ........ check the fuse
all the things you mentioned are on that cig/clk fuse
the pwr door locks (if you have them) won't work either if the fuse is blown

Thanks guys. Once again this site has been very helpful.

I checked the door locks this morning and they did not work so I pulled and replaced the fuse. All is back to normal. Do you think the fuse gave way as it was 20 years old or there may be something wrong along the way?

Thanks again.

fuses pop. if it happens again and agian it might be worth looking into. otherwise, dont worry about it
i try and always keep at least one of each as spares in my car
