DISCONNECT the tv cable and see if you get 4th gear on the jackstands .dont drive like this but see.DO IT NOW.WE WANT TO GET TO THE BOTTOM OF THIS DONT WE?

there is something being assembled wrong or the 3/4 valve is getting stuck again due to debris.remove it and check

what does the 4th gear pressure switch do? that screws into the bottom of the vb with the wires on it right?

tells the computer you are in fourth gear has no effect on fourth gear unless the hole it goes in is left open from you not instaling the switch resulting in the exhausting of 4th oil.

so happy i am.

tranny is fixed! everything works great. the 3-4 shift valve assembly was covered with black goo and would not move. cleaned it up than tested by presurising the exhaust hole chris talked about, now i could hear it clicking. made sure everything else was clean, all check balls right and now she works like a champ. thanks everyone who helped me, esp chris @ CK. your the man chris.
