I'm looking for a good accurate torque wrench for smaller values such as 1ft-lb to 25ft-lbs etc. Is there such a thing?

Get an inch-pound torque wrench......3/8" drive. Works great for low values. It translates to a range of about 2-21 ft pounds.

BTW....both my Craftsman inch and foot pound torque wrenches were checked by my local Snap On tool truck guy and he said they were dead on so i guess for accuracy they are fine.

I am assuming 12 inch pounds is equal to 1 foot pound. Is that a correct translation?

+1 craftsmen makes an in pounds / Nm torque wrench and i use it on my bike. very nice piece and cheap

I use a SnapOn in/lb torque wrench at work. I don't shell out the money for SnapOn very often but I like their tq wrenches. The rest of my box is full of Crapsman.
