What is the best Windows platform for FAST XFI?

My laptop crashed, and I am rebooting everything. What is the best platform for XFI? Thanks

Not a computer expert at all. I bought a used laptop online with Windows 2000 on it and it works perfectly. I made sure it had a serial port (that's the cable I have for the XFI) and a CD drive for programs.

This laptop is mainly used for the car. It is able to go online for updates. No fancy programs.
