Hello everyone. Im new here and the main reason I am here is to learn as much as I can before I buy my first turbo buick. So what is the difference between a GN and a regal t-type other than the color. Also was there more t-type's made or GN.

I will answer some of this. And anyone here can feel free to correct any misinformation I may throw out since I am far from a TB guru.

GNs & T-Types are the same mechanically. The differences in them are cosmetic. T's you could get in various trim levels & colors in both in interior & exterior.


There were more GNs made. I think the total number of T's built in 86 & 87 is close to the total number of 86 GNs built alone (around 5,000+- IIRC).


As mentioned already, do a lot of reading on these boards. You will be amazed at how much info is available. Any topic you can think of has probably been discussed heavily. I've been here daily since October of 08 (when I got my car, mostly just a lurker before that) and I still haven't covered half of the material that's out there for these cars.
