1969 Chevelle 300 Deluxe 2 door post puke green. A real babe getter. Strait 6 cyl with 3 on the tree and would bark the tires in all 3 gears. Geared 4:11 single trac.

I drove an '89 Taurus Wagon in High School. Probably the reason I will never own another Ford. I called it the "Pie Wagon" 'cause the ladies really loved it.(sarcasm) I had two gigantic house speakers laid down in the back wired into the factory mono stereo. The only good thing about it was the quantity of beer and people it would haul. I would equate it to the Forman's Vista Cruiser from That '70's Show.

Almost ashamed to admit it, BUT...a 1973 AMC "Levi's" Gremlin with a ****ping 100+hp 6cyl !

Those Gremilns were cool! Got to love Levi's for seats. You should have swapped a 401 into it

I once had an '82 Subaru Brat with the jumpseats in the rear, flip-up t-tops, sliding rear window, tilt column. It was cream colored with the factory orange/red stripes. FUN car, was a real tank in the snow, would go anywhere!! Wish I had pics.

Across from my high school there was a FIAT dealer that also sold Subaru's and Bricklins. What a combo. Way back then the Subarus were tiny and had something like 45hp. When they changed to the next style, like that Brat they got kind of cool looking. I remember looking at a hatchback model that was AWD. It had a feature that allowed you to raise the car up for off road. I think in the late 80s they had a turbo model too.

Wow, this gives me the creeps even thinking about it again. First of all I was broke as hell during my first 2 years of college but wanted to look the best I could with basically no spending money in my pocket. I decided to buy a 1982 beatup Mazda 626 during my Freshman year of college. Talking about "Growing Pains." Man this car did it all - leaked oil profusely, burnt more than enough fuel, stayed down more than it was up, and had an interior that pretty much showed all the seat foam. Check this out, I was so broke that I installed the huge house speakers in my trunk to try and save some face. The system and speakers did more for me than the freaking car. O.K., I'm the only guy that did that, Right (LOL)?

Well, I got lucky and got a work study job in college and wanted to step up my so called performance needs and bought a freaking 1985 Ford EXP. Hey, since I couldn't afford a real mustang I decided to get something that resembled one in nature and theory. Now guys, don't tell me I'm the only one who thought like that 10 to 20 years ago! Wow, what a mistake. Sadly to say, I wish I would have kept the Mazda because the EXP (i.e. Except Performance) was a nightmare. Everytime it rain, believe it or not, the car didn't want to run right for some reason. I would have to wait until it dried up outside before the car would start. Seems like the car just didn't like moisture or condensation.

Let's just say I had no girly girls looking my way at all during my first 2 years of college!

I saw that van on another forum for sale. Is it still yours or does someone else have it for sale. There can't be two of them in the world...

if it's this specific van, i'm the one selling it. There is one other turbo dodge minivan painted like the A-team van, but I dont know if it was for sale or anything cause i've never seen it. I'm still trying to sell the thing though :p

What does the van run???????????????????
BW

no idea

sometimes it does run though ;)

if i could get it to go a whole 1/4 mile without blowing up i'd say 15s.. needs a new o2 sensor and is in serious need of traction... then maybe low 15s.. it's set up to do much... much... more if i get fuel system mods

but i'm done spending money on it :o

Quick6nKC: I can hook you up with a turbo caravan if you want one, it's even a conversion van, needs head gasket.

Thread hijack over.

My very first car (truck?) was an 83 dodge rampage, brown with gold trim. In case you didn't know, a rampage was a front wheel drive pickup, basically a charger with a bed molded into it. Total P.O.S., and talk about ugly. Actually turned out to be a very practical machine, got awesome mileage and I tried as hard as any 16 year old could to kill it and never succeeded. Sold it to my uncle who drove it till it literally rusted in half. They had it geared right, you could pull 65 mph in third and still have two gears to go. If you'd convert one to shelby turbo specs, you'd have a scary machine.

I love driving junk. I've had more fun in cars worth less than $500 than I could ever dream of having in my GN. It's the most fun when all your friends have junk too and you can have a rolling demo derby on public roads. Ever been rear ended while doing 65?

my first car was a red and orange 1983 dodge rampage. 2.2 carbed auto:) my bossman gave me that thing to me for my 16th birthday. Well needless to say it meet it's doom three days later when it decided to burn to the ground literly in front of the fire station. and on that day there was a hellacious woods fire up on dave mountains so there were no fire trucks there. the guys that were there on standby used 3 fire extingishers to finely get it out.

then my next goofy ass car was a 1980 pontiac sunbird i gave a ****pin 300 bucks for it after the ramage overheated a tad bit :). it was a carbed iron duke 4 banger/auto cream colored with vinyl biege int. i drove than thing to school for a long time. When you would get up in to the morning you better get at least a 20 min headstart so you could get the thing cranked and warmed up so it would run.

1979 Plymouth Arrow GT, black with gold racing stripes. Wasnt too bad of a car, we never got it to blow up as hard as me and brother tried.

'81 AMC Spirit, inline 6/auto. had mag wheels on it, that the lug nuts would always loosen up for some reason, well one time i was drivin home, and felt kinda "thumpy" after i took off from the stoplight, when all of a sudden the rear left of the car slammed to the ground as i watched my tire roll past me and the car while i slid off the road...what an experience that car was. it was a one wheel wonder, when me and my buddies did burnies in it, the tires would scream so loud, the first time we did it it starled us, those were the days. i rememeber it would always stall, and dependingf on how it felt it might restart, so i would cuss and yell while tryin to turn it with the sudden loss of power steering, my friends would laugh so hard.
