Battery feed to the ECM. The missing part goes to the battery + terminal with a fusible link and the opposing connector for that one.

yes it is converted over from hot air. can i just tie in an inline fuse and connect to the battery? if so does anyone know what amp fuse to go with

If your car is running without that wire hooked up, then someone has hooked another wire to the ECM.

A couple of other things, you may want to put a bolt in the POS battery terminal and looks like the POS wire is dangerously close to the downpipe.

car is not running yet bought it as a non running project car but i think im just about at the point where im ready to try and start just trying to tie up all the loose ends. kinda hard when you dont know much about these cars but you guys are a big help

I could be wrong and usually am but I beleive it's a fuseable link. If you are going to splice in a fuse I would use 10 amp or less.

Time for a downpipe

so can i just go pick up a standard fuseable link from the auto parts store, or is it gn specific? also i thought fuseable links were just sealed inline fuses (could b wrong please correct me if i am)

A standard fusible link will be fine. Get one that is smaller than the gauge of the wire. A general rule of thumb is to use a fusible link thats 4 guages smaller but in the case of that wire there may not be a fusible link THAT small.

wire

i noticed a wire unhooked from behind the alt. I hooked it up and found my tach and boost guage don't work. i unhooked it and they both work.can someone tell me why. thanks

Was it the wire with the green plug? That goes to the tach. Be careful when hooking up wires that you do not know what they are or where they go to.....these cars don't like sparks !! LOL

I used to unplug the computer all the time as a extra and easy anti theft device. ;)

I bet you put the tach test wire and the grey fuel pump test wire together. Common mistake some people make because it looks like they should go together...
