What Is This Wire from the fuse box?

The final stages of putting it all together and I found a broken wire.

It comes from the fuse box on the engine bay side. It is Black with an Orange stripe.

The location in the fuse box is:
As looking from the left fender at the connectors from the fuse box, the wire comes from the connector on the upper fender side. There are two rows of wires. It is from the row that is on the inboard side of the connector, third from the top.

I have a pic but do not know how to get the size down so that it may be attached here.

If ya know what this is or can offer an idea as to where I might find out where to learn this type of info - Please let me know.

I believe it goes to the under hood light.

I went out to my car in the garage, and my wire is cut too

I think it goes to the hood light...

Just checked the other car, yes it does go to the hoodlight at the back of the hood.
