What kind of comments do you get about your GN?

In the 13-14 years I've owned a GN I've received many comments as well besides the Monte Carlo one.

Some were:

Grand National
Is that the twin turbo?
That got a 350?
Is that quick?
That for sale?...I'll give you 5 grand right now for it
Why don't you put a V-8 in it?
Are those miles original?
That have the 4.3 turbo engine?

Turbo T/A
You got the 305?
You have a 350 under there?
You got the 301 Turbo V-8?
Wow, is that a real "Official Race Car" (yes, he said race)
That looks fast, is it?
It's just a V-6?
Many rolled eyes at stoplights with other "fast" cars which turned into wide eyes after I usually quickly pulled away
What's a Turbo Trans Am?

Just took my GN off jackstands today and put the centerlines back on. Some little kid on a bike said "hey, nice car!"... i get that a lot... one time last summer a group of kids who looked like they just finished smoking lots of dope parked in front of my house to stare at it with the cover off since its usually covered.


If i hear the "hey, nice Monte" comment one more time i will strangle them! Thats like going up to a guy with a Cobra and saying "nice Escort!"

I pulled up at the mall in my '86 years ago and there was a girl outside on her "smoke break". I'd just put new tires on it and with the larger tires on the rear and the rather large lettering on them, it had kind of a NASCAR look to it. Not my intention but it looked pretty good.

When I got out the girl said it looked like a "Hot Wheels" car. I was a little insulted at first but when I looked across the parking lot at it, I realized she was right (although, "Johnny Lightning" would've been more accurate!)
