What kind on Caddy beat me?

Was out on lunch break & in front of me was this stealth looking 2 door caddy with dual exhuast splitters out the back.
When traffic allowed we both were side by side.
This puppy had big rims, 4 wheel disc, Snazzy steering wheel.

I had my daily driver 1996 OLDS 88.

Took him off guard for about 15 feet & WHAM the old geezer laid into his pedal. At least I got him to show me his car GO-GO power

It sounded dam good & flew by my 4 door large barge.

What is this Caddy.

Probably the XLR....cool car!

Expensive but I think they look better in real life.

Has the C6 chassis and engine from what I remember. Tons of bells and whistles. Saw it at the Denver Auto Show last year. Crazy car!

I guess for the money that it cost it should blow doors off other cars.

It had a neat sand color to it.
It also had a dealer tag on it so I am sure it was a sales man or dealer owner getting to drive it around.

The XLR has the rear wheel drive "Y" chassis, but is still powered by the Northstar engine. In the next few years they are talking about making a "V" series XLR supercharged.
