What mods to tranny when changing from a D5 to a non lockup?

Considering using a nonlockup Art Carr 9" converter. Does this require any internal mods to the tranny? Car is an 86 GN with a stock 200-4r and a level 10 shift kit installed.

I'm the last person that should be answering this, but I do know that you have to take out the lockup valve thing-a-ma-bob! Hope that helps!

You need to convert valve for a non-lock up available @ Art Carr for $32, also while there go to a 10 vane pump, harden stator, & a valve body shift kit- anything else depends on how deep your pockets are- I have a real Art Carr 3200, non-lock up & these are the steps i did w/a te-44, blue tops inj. & 23lb boost w/alky
