What oil and weight do you run?

I have used Mobil 1 in my GNs but was thinking of trying Royal Purple in the TTA. I will change it every 1000-1500 miles or so anyway so I know its not that critical.

Anybody ran royal Purple or redline,,,or what do you use?

Mobil 1, 5w-30 in everything. I ran Redline years back, and I liked it a tad more than Mobil 1, but it is seldom seen for sale in So ca, and when it is, it is pricey. Never tried Royal Purple. Fresh filter & oil change, every 3k miles or less.

If you change your oil that often there is no need for anything other then the normal oils. Your just throwing away money. I use Penzoil 10w30 and change it every 500 or no more then 1000 miles. Do the filter every other time. You'll never go wrong and my car leak NO oil. Not a drop. Friend of mine put Mobil 1 in his car and it was like a sprinkler system. oil came out from everywhere. Maybe if it's a track car you might want to go Mobil 1. but for street and show save your money and put any flavor of the cheap stuff you like in there! JMO

Ah ok nice! Yea if you change the oil often like I do.. just pick anything.. I've used Penzoil in my daily drivers for years and liked it. So I just use that and spend the money I would on Mobil 1 somewhere else! Just always remember to keep away from Fram oil filters!! They are CRAP!
