Will a g80 posi unite from a 10 bolt 30 spline 8.5 posi from a 96 bazer fit our cars if I get 30 spline axils?

yes, it will fit- but if it's not an Eaton style with clutches, don't bother. the cone type is marginal behind a 200hp V6.
there are plenty of places to get a good 28 spline Eaton style posi- a late 70's Z/28 and Trans Am would be a good place to look. just make sure you don't get one out of a car that had gears that are numerically lower than 3.08 or you will have to buy different gears. 3.42 gears were used in the good Z's and TA's with 4 speeds- get a posi out of one of them.

28 & 30 will fit but if you get 30 diff your gonna need to 30 spline axles from the donor car as well to go with it. Never use or think about using gov lock units(from what i hear)
