What Pump is best to buy

Went to start the car today first time in 6 months besides the battery being dead. The pump is Not coming on when i turn the key. I was told the pump in the car know is a Walboro 340 Hot wire when i bought the car. Since i need to replace the Fuel Pump which one should I buy. Please Help

How much fuel pump do you need? If the motor is basically stock, go with another Walbro. If yuo plan big mods, look further. Check the fuel pump relay and fuse before you spend your bucks on a pump that might just be good. Is there fuel in the tank? If not surer, dump 5 gallons in and see if pump will go.

check if it is a wire problem first. If it is the pump you need to contact walbro for there recall thats going on now.

i would also check the wiring first. fuses and relay. one way to check to see if the pump is shot is put 12 volts to the jumper next to the tach out put near the alternator. if you do need a new pump then get another walbro 340

How fast can the car go with a 340 ? I have 60 psi Injectors & was told they are good for mid 10's ?

how do you check the relay,pump works sometimes and when it works pressure is normal.also that jumper you spoke of,is that the one the hotwire kit is plugged into or the one next to it(green I believe)also will the jumper work if the relay is bad,should the ignition sw be on?

green connector is NOT a fuel pump wire.. it's a tach signal

Also does the Hot Wire have it's own relay ?

I have a relay under the rear bumper at the gas tank with a ground. Is that part of the Hot Wire Kit ? Or is that Factory ? And can that be checked ?

Did you try hitting your fuel tank to wake up the pump?

Yes i hit the fuel tank no luck. When i turn the key on the relay on the passenger side does make a noise.
