Hey guys,

I'm pretty sure my next car is gonna be a GN, after finishing up my V8 S10.

I just need some help with what I should look for and what I should expect to pay for one of these cars.

Nate

Nate,

TRs/GNs are regularly on eBay for sale...watch their auctions for a couple of months. Check the "Cars-for-Sale" listings here, gnttype.org, & turbobuicks.com also. Ask questions of the sellers.

This way, you'll start to get a feel for what the real market is,
and what is realistic for your wallet.

buy a t-type or turbo T :)

that way you get to choose your color and it DOESNT have to be black!

make sure you buy one that has spent its whole life DOWN SOUTH, that way there is no chance of major cancer/rust

t-top cars tend to rattle, but then again ive driven some hardtop cars that rattle just as bad.

just depends on what you are lookin for

buying a gn

depends,if you like bone stock and start improving performance.first check carfax ,straightness of the body see if theres a wave on the painting by looking on the side from front to rear on both side of the car could be hit, look for rust on bottom door panel, and under chasis, maintennance records, jack front end be sure wheels are not loose when you wiggle left and right and up and down wiggle, shake those front end parts be sure it tight, start engine check the color of the oil and trans.and its contents, when you drive the car feel the cars suspension and how the trans shift, make sure the door shuts good easily, your hood should be align with the front left and right fender even with the same gap as bothe side ,trunk will do the same thing.this is only few ideas how to buy a 15 yr gn.but if u find one that fit what i told u it gonna cost u but its worth owning a gn.if u dont want to check by yourself, theres a co that check it for u b-4 u buy one, they are certified tech. i saw it on want ad for cars it in new jersey,i dont know if u have it in your state.price is 100 bucks per car.good hunting for a gn and good luck----------turboculosis:)
