What should oil pressure be?

I finally got an oil pressure gauge in my buggy and found the proper sending unit for it just before our trip to the dunes this past weekend and am wondering what it should be at. In the morning at cold start it was around 70 psi, after warming up it was around 40 at idle and 60-70 at 3500-4500 RPM's. I really wish I had an idea what's been done on the inside of this thing because with the buggy I got a box of spare parts and there were 3 or 4 front covers for 3.8's in the box and I have no idea why they had so many of them unless they were trying to do something to them. Sorry to go off on a tangent, my mind wanders sometimes

Stock the pressure was about 15-20 PSI at idle and it should raise from there. If you've got that much pressure warm you're doing just fine.
