Had some bolt ons installed and my friend said a new torque converter would be a great improvement.
First off, I wont be taking it to the track, just an occasional street race.
Here are the mods so far
1. Alky kit
2. 30 lb injectors
3. turbo tweak alky chip
4. RJC powerplate
5.160 thermostat
6. Grumpys MAF pipe with K & N filter
7. Test pipe with dump.
8. scanmaster, knock gauge and boost gauge.

Can you recommend a torque converter for street use
1.Brand
2. what stall
3. size
Thanks very much

I agree, stock stall. Once you get a bigger turbo, then think about a stall.

You might be happy with a faster spool of your current converter/turbo combination....Try a manual boost controller: A grainger valve variant. One or more of the board sponsors carry them. Q-boost and RJC Racing are two that I can name off hand. I used the RJC controller with great success. :)

Thanks guys, will take the advice and stay with the stocker.
Is it a good idea to add a tranny cooler, or is the factory one sufficient for street use.
