Good morning everyone I'm trying to upgrade to a bigger turbo but I don't want change my torque converter which is stock from my understanding. I was told my turbo and housing is mix matched so I'm trying to replace it.
Mixed Matched: first five pictures!!

Next is a Garrett a/r 60 m24 casting!!
Last four pictures...thanks for any help you can give. My gn is a 1987 with 42 green top injectors, factory maf, turbo tweak chip, factory trans.

I wouldn't go to a larger turbo. That looks like a stage 3 turbine and is likely already lazy with the stock converter. If your car is trapping 116-117mph you will be working the turbo closer to it's limit. You will need a converter to go larger though
