What to do with all this antifreeze?

We helped clean out my mother-in-laws garage a couple of weekends ago. I ended up carting home 6 gallon jugs of antifreeze. Five of them were opened and partly used, and of course there are 4 different brands.

So, what should I do with all this? Dispose of it all? Does antifreeze have a shelf life? I have no idea how old any of these are. I'm a little hesitant to mix it all together, with it all being different brands, but sure would like to minimize the number of jugs sitting in the garage.

Maybe I should just dispose of it all, since I'm not feeling like any of this is something I would actually put in my own cars, I'd probably go buy brand new stuff just to be safe...

Heck - the local "authorities" say pour it down a sanitary drain (toilet) if it's less than 10 gallons or so....

Yeah - but leave the antifreeze in Tomball!

Just give me a heads up - I get every other Friday off, so hooking up shouldn't be a problem.. Hell - drive up to Abq. when you're here - I'm only 3.5 hours north!!! Got a cold beer with your name on it......

John, a lot of shops recyle antifreeze - call around and see if someone will take it.
