Well thanks for all the ideas...but the flight was just cancelled due to weather here.... So now I have to decide if I want the car sight unseen or not.....

I thought about that, but today is the last day they will hold the car, so its kinda sort notice. But, I have now arranged a flight to San Diego as all the LAX flights were full already before they canned my flight...so I'll have to drive up from SD..I do return thru LAX though, will just be a late night/flight now...and no time for any sight seeing if it takes 3-4 hrs to drive up from SD.

Saw nothing but the CA freeways...I-5 was a parking lot just out of SD..took 3.5 hours to get to Covina..had just enough time to look at the car drive it, do the paper work and get to LAX with just 20 minutes to spare..so we saw nothing..was actually the most miserable trip I have ever taken...and I've taken 3 trips before where I didn't buy what we were going to look at.

Here's what we got, this is for my step-daughter, kind of a late college grad present. Not quit my cup of tea, but its what she wanted..this or a 2nd gen Trans Am was her only 2 choices, she likes old retro stuff...2nd Gens are cool but I think they would really sux for a daily driver, not to mention the gas mileage and she drives alot.
