I probably should have posted here 1st...here is the link to my post over in the TTA section... http://www.turbobuick.com/forums/turbo-trans-am-tech/228916-what-turbo-should-i-get.html

What are my plans you ask...to go as fast as I reasonably can with the stock cam and heads for now. My car is not a daily driver, it only gets out on nice weekends to car shows, local cruise nights, and maybe to the track once or twice a summer...it sleeps all winter and during any foul weather. It is simply my toy. I don't know how fast I can go on stock heads and cam but I have read that some have done low 11's and maybe even high 10's...I'm guessing low to mid 11's is probably what I can expect ?

Trying to figure out what turbo I should go with to match my current and future upgrades.

Here is what's in my near future:

I'm starting to get parts together for an upgrade...

My car has ~46K on the stock unopend motor. Here is a list of what is done and what parts I have and plan to get shortly.

Currently on the car:
1. TT 93 street chip
2. 160 t-stat
3. RJC power plate
4. 3" alum. "Grumpy" MAF pipe
5. 9" K&N
6. 3" Action Fab S/S DP w/ported stock elbow
7. 3" cutout w/QTP electric dump
8. MT DR's (ET Streets) 255/50-16
9. Scanmaster
10. Stock Trans w/PTS shift kit and .570 pressure valve (replacing with trans listed below)
11. 100# valve springs
12. rerouted PCV and breathers on both valve covers (driver side vc on pass side as well)
13. MSD 8.5mm Super Conductor wires

Have but not installed yet:
1. RAZOR Alky Control Kit
2. Bill Anderson fully built bfr 200r4 w/Stagerite Trans Brake, good for mid-low 10's.
3. PTS billet 9/11 3400-3600 stall convertor
4. Racetronics Hotwire kit
5. RJC manual boost controlloer

Still need to get...in the works:
1. Trans cooler
2. Walbro fuel pump
3. Adjustable FPR
4. Injectors 60#'s
5. New TT chip for Alky and 60# injectors
6. Turbo ???????????

I do not plan on doing any head work or change the cam until it is time to pull the engine and do so...hopefuly not to soon. So I need a turbo to work with what I have listed above and have no idea what turbo I should get

Thanks,
Scott

im not a turbo expert by any means but with that converter, u could get away with a pretty sizeable turbo!!! like a 6776 or 70GTQ ball bearing!

i see ur in eburg, ever been to any home depot shows!

decided on a turbo!

Spoke with Mike Licht at FullThrottle...his recomendation for my setup is the GT6776E 3"in/2"out. The GT6776S 4"in/2.5"out would need a IC upgrade...E series is better for the TTA stock IC. Since I have a billet 9/11 3400-3600 stall the dual BB version would not work as good as the standard journal bearing (converter would be too loose for the BB)...3000-3200 for the dual BB works best according to Mike. So I will be making my order in the next couple days
