A GT6152 is decent with a 3200 stall. Should run mid 11's with a decent tune and traction at 25 psi of boost. I would highly recommend a Razor's alky kit... and a turbotweak chip... I would actually recommend it before the turbo/converter upgrade.

Without more info... I should recommend a scantool.....and a wideband. These cars are real sensitive to a good tune..... that mid to low 11 time I quoted above..... could easily slip to 13's with no traction... and a poor tune.

Go alky and chip. Make the most out of your motor, then upgrade. But if you are set on the turbo, go TE44 or PT61 and and a 3200 9/11.

Thanks guys alky is on the way and have to send eric my chip to re burn. What times would a pt61 get me with proper tune etc.

I wouldn't do a 61 alone.... needs to be done with a converter at the same time. You don't have to... but the spoolup will be slow on a stock converter.

If you want to wait on the converter.... you might ought to get a TE44 and an RJC bleeder... it will spoolup nicely with the stock converter... and still might go 11.5 or so with a good tune on an unopenend motor.... maybe quicker depending on traction/tune. I would think your potential would be .2-.3 faster with the 61.... but it will really need a converter to let it shine.

Im getting the alky, chip, converter, and turbo all at the same time. Came upon some money:biggrin:

There is another option guys.
PTE (and other PTE Vendors) sells what is called a PT6131RE and it's available with two compressor cover options. Even tho it's not listed on their website under the Buick turbo listings trust me, it is available and it rocks. This turbo is a full dual ball bearing turbo that has the 61mm compressor wheel from the GT35R turbo and the Stage 3 turbine wheel. It comes with a .63 A/R PTE turbine housing as well. You really don't even need to change the converter from stock with this turbo. Mike Licht can attest to this one. This turbo is killer. It can support up around 610-615 fwhp and spools incredibly fast. I would recommend 65# high imp injectors. Actually, this is the next turbo I would buy for my next street driven Buick. You can get it with a TO4E compressor cover which is the same cover that is used on a TE44 turbo, or you can get a TO4S style compressor cover which has a 4" inlet and 2.5" discharge. (same cover that comes standard on the PT67 turbo) If you're looking for a little more flow and a little bit cooler charge at higher boost levels, then go for the TO4S style cover. This turbo is oil and water cooled so you will need to run water lines to the center section. Don't worry tho, PTE just released a water coolant line kit that was specifically designed for the Buick application. This turbo also uses a different style oil feed fitting. I'm not sure if their water coolant line kit includes this fitting or not, but it is recommended to run the oil saver with it, this way the -4 feed line that comes with the oil saver would be a bolt on deal when the turbo is equipped with the -4 restrictor fitting. Once the word gets out about this specific model turbo and more and more are put on street cars, everything that came before it in the past will be obsolete. What could be better than a 600 fwhp capable turbo that spools up like a stocker with a stock converter? Every one of these I sold while at PTE, I heard nothing but praise about it.

Just my O2's worth.
