What would the most likely Cause of ........

...... Getting a single exhaust backfire when fully warmed up to ~165 , & on a straight hi-way , rolling into just about 50 MPH ? Can pretty much 'Feel' it kinda ' Drag ' in the tranny , just before it backfires ? FP does not drop or increase when it Does ?
PS........ I found Zero wiring for the TCC , on a 1982 , Rebuilt . 700R4 ? . Just has the 4 pin connector socket on the tranny ?

Update : Rechecked & Reset with Volt meter & # 1 @ 25* before TDC. After a Week of to & from......Backfire is gone.
