I found an 87 Gunmetal Grey T-type that is still owned by the original owner and he even has the window sticker from when it was new! The car has 150k miles, excellent interior except one small tear on the driver's side seat. The engine compartment would look very nice with some cleaning. It has the blackout option, digital dash, hardtop, non posi rear. The paint is original but faded pretty bad. The car runs and drives excellent and has all service records including a 800 powermaster repair bill! Someone didn't know about the cheap ones at Autozone...
The car only has a bit of rust on the rear corner of the passenger side door. It also will come with 2 8.5" 10 bolt rears that he's replaced during the years.

What would you pay? I know the price but I'm keeping it secret for now :p

I would go $4000 if it runs as good as you say. Buy this one, keep your GN drivetrain and transplant your G80. Then part out you're GN minus what you're keeping. Repaint this one and have a beautiful Grey T with a backup engine and trans.

If this was the price is right we'd all have to bid again since everyone overbid. :D

It would be a shame to part out my GN. It just needs a front clip really. This T-Type is unbelievable for the price and I'd like to buy it as an everyday driver since my GN was that until that drag race. :(

With that being said, I still need to get parts for my GN. There is NO WAY I'd part out this T-Type. It's just too nice and original. The body is straight as an arrow too. The paint just looks faded since it's original. The chrome bumpers actually look brand spanking new! I was going to let people guess at the price, but I feel compelled to share it with you guys. 2500

With all of these cheap GNs and Ts you've been finding lately you should start your own Turbo Buick salvage yard. ;)

That's what my wife says! :D My problem is I'll keep too many of the goodies for my own personal use. I'm currently building a garage that will hold 6 cars. So hiding these from the neighbors shouldn't be a problem.

I could sure use something to suppliment my income when I'm not working in the summer. Though, I'd be more inclined to doing some basic work and selling for a profit since it would be very hard to part out a good car. (See Previous Thread on that issue ;))

Hook a brother up on the gunmetal gray car.. :D

Seriously.. shoot me a PM about it if you aren't going to get it..
Thanks..

I would hook you up but I'm buying it. I need something to drive while I fix my GN. I've got to get my fix somehow! LOL

Good for you; glad something good is coming out of a otherwise bad experience. I didn't think keeping both was an option or I wouldn't have suggested parting out one of them. I love my GN but I always love the Grey T's I see at the Nat's. If you bide your time, you'll find the parts to fix the GN cheap enough. Good luck.

I tell you what... that is 100% correct. People have been very good to me lately with the info on deals and parts. I think after I'm through I might have 2 nice Turbo cars, one I parted out to make $$$$. If I sell the T-Type I can probably break even on this whole thing. That would make me very happy!

Believe it or not

There was a time before any aftermarket auto part seller had the power master and the only place to get one was the dealer. Of course this happened after Buick cancelled my warranty for racing the vehicle, so I got to pay $800 or so for one too.

bisher have fun, bolting on the front end.......

if the new parts you get ever match up:rolleyes: :(

good luck, i posted that video on another message board, they all said you should have taken a chainsaw to that guys face and put him up on a meat hook and let him bleed to death. not a bad suggestion ;)
