Well since im a newbee what is a pcv valve and were is it located. can this affect your performance or what does this pcv valve doo??? thanx in advace guys

Positive
Crankcase
Ventilation

It's underneath the plenum on the passenger side. Only replace with a Delco valve. It's open during vacuum, closed during boost.

What is the correct pcv valve for our cars. I think i have ac delco cv893c and i have oil in the intake.

Someone posted a GM part # 25095468. Are we supposed to be using this one?

Applied Technologies sells a very nice replacement, that they manufacture themselves. Go to their website and read about it. It's only $20, and in all likelihood, you'll never have to replace it again. It functions the way a PCV is truly designed to function, and eliminates that "oil in the intake" problem. I've used 'em for years, with great results.
