I bought a PTE BB turbo and want to know if the water and oil lines sold by FULLTHROTTLESpeed.com is all I need or should I go with the water line and PTE turbo saver? I am looking to not spend more than needed since I have to buy gasoline for $4 a gallon.

check with FTSS to be 100%, but I think their oil/water line kit for $149.99 is all that you need.

Interesting you didn't pick this up when you bought the turbo.. unless the turbo is used?

Is there any way to just piece together the water lines instead of paying out the @$$ for them from full throttle? Their prices seem pretty competitive but still $150 for that little bit of stuff is outrageous...

Thought/think it was/is kind of a ridiculous price when the items are so cheap to make. Also, the turbo broke me and I couldn't afford anything else.

My brother worked at precision until last winter and I still know some of the guys there. I thought they gave me some pretty good advice and walked me through what I needed. Instead of getting their water cooling kit I got some adapters for the turbo that adapt to regular AN -8 fittings. You can then just make up your own lines for less money. (If you need more info or pics just PM me).

The oil lines were something I had to do more research. I wanted to fit my stock turbo cover (maybe you don't care) but the precision oil lines stick way up before turning back down twards the engine. I looked at stainless braided lines but I would need a handful of AN -4 angles and fittings to make it work. What I ended up doing was talking with the guys at ESP performance in Pottstown PA. They decided to make one special for my precision turbo. They made two different sizes for me and sent both (charged for one) and said to mail the other one back. It worked out great! They charged me $57 for the line that goes from engine to the turbo adapter without any extra pieces and will fit under turbo cover. I feel it is a really nice piece. They also sell oil return lines but if your budget is tight I beleive you can just reuse your stock return line. I can email you a picture if you'd like to see it.

Good luck, sounds like you've got a nice turbo!

Buy Turbonetics and save the $$. Cotton's has a big sale right now. I had PTE52 before and CPT66BB now. Had bearing problems with PTE(which were replaced and shipped free and promptly!!) and no issues with 66 yet. It's like Ford or Chevy

Sorry, didn't see you already purchased. I bought my 52 from Mike, he is good people!! Was a lot of help with issues.

If your turbo bearings took a dump after less than 50 miles like mine and a bunch of others did...ya might jump ship too!!
