Since I'm finally "done" I'm noticing my 2008 build with maybe 5-10k miles on it isn't shifting strong and it's not even WOT.

What's new since 2008 era and these parts...

Billet Input Shaft
Billet Drum
Dual feed
Volume trans pump and hardened teeth
Bigger Servo
KC valvebody
Trans cooler with fan
Art Carr bigger finned pan

I heard there's a new update to the dual feed but don't have a name for this mod or details.

I think while I'm away for 10 days I'll drop it off at my guy Jimmy and have him go through it.

I remember the "new" dual feed mod was like 2010 lol I thought Jimmy said it was a very easy mod. But good idea to get it freshened up.

Lots of guys are on the duel feed wagon and yet some of the good 200 builders don't do it until bottom 10s

Got the trans back from Jimmy, here's what's new.

Super Servo (internal change)
4130 Steel Pressure Plates

Pretty much all the same billet parts and dual feed is still the way they're done for high torque cars.

If your on the newer turbos and the car actually can take the power without a dead ramp any 200 builder will have to be on their game

Can't think like that when the boost line goes vertical and the tire doesnt spin😉

My saving grace is no 1/8 or 1/4 passes so it's like 4 seconds max of Tyson uppercuts and then I'm gassed. LOL

Surprisingly not much changed and couldn't be created in those 17 years. I thought maybe someone could make a bigger drum and stuff more or bigger clutches but I guess it's maxed. No one's breaking planetaries so it seems like clutches holding are the big deterant for the track guys. I'll rebuild every 5k etc if needed, not a big deal until Jimmy retires, then its a PIA.

I'll only drive it 2k a year if I'm lucky, that luck just started up so when you've had it since 97 and only 32k on it total, your bottom is pretty easy to jump over with joy. Hahaha
