whats next up in a bb turbo from te60

i want to upgrade my turbo i am currently running a te-60 want to step up to a bb turbo a step higher any suggestions? whats the benefits of a bb turbo?

Whats your combo? Have you maximized the 60 yet?

well the block is pretty much stock. 60 injectors 70 mm throttle plenum, pte fmic,alky,tt chip,rjc pp, all bolt ons. i was wondering whats the benefit of a bb turbo.

Quicker spool with less stall required. You probably can run the next size up exhaust housing on the same size turbo (in your case the 60 with a .85ex) and make more power and not hurt the bottom end. Unless you are going 117+ in the quarter with the 60 turbo you havent maximized its potential. Heads and cam would net you a lot more than upgrading turbos at this point. And wont cost you much more $ wise. Only time to pull the engine apart to do it.

61mm with the 3in by 2.2.5 housing or 61mm with the 4in by 2.5 housing.

Cotton calls em a cpt65BB, it uses the 61mm wheel and a p trim turbine. I absolutely loved that turbo........

Needs a good 3200 to move it though!
