One reason I can think of as to why Import owners know about Buicks, is because of Grand Turismo 4 for PS2 and Forza for Xbox. Both games have the Buick GNX, and anybody that's into Imports, knows, these two games are at the top of the list when it comes to a driving simulator. That and most of them know because they are into turbos. (Your RX7 neighbor would be an exception) And when you are into turbos, you're supposed to know what car started it all.

You got that right brother. If it was not for the beatdowns that gm's flagship precious corvette got by the mighty 6 banger the lsx motors would not be where they are today.
