Weigh in if you guys would: I have an 87 Regal "T" with 61 K and have zero issues except one !
Go VERY SLOW, (or back up) VERY SLOWLY and what I THINK is the rear end "bunches up" ... The best way I can explain it is it sounds / feels like I'm crushing ice as I drive over same.
Note this only happens at near dead stop speeds .... S L O W
NO issues whatsoever exist (rear end wise) I changed the fluid a year ago, *adding 2 bottles of friction modifier (the limited slip stuff) AND it won't always act up !
"Annoying a good word" ... " I'd swear it's in the rear end" ! ... *the drive-shafts greased / great ! can anyone think of anything else (the tires of course are all a-like) that this could be ?
Thoughts ? (thanks).
