whats the diffrence?

i just bought my first turbo buick, its an 85 regal t type, 3.8 sfi, turbo, any way, i've had some people tell me that its not as good as the 86,87 regal and GN, whats the diffrence?

difference

The 86-87 cars had an intercooler, different intake manifold design, and different throttle body placement. The 84-5 "hot air" cars did not have these and therefore made less power

ok thanks, are the parts interchangable with the motor i have, or do they make after market parts so i can upgrade my car, im aiming for low to mid 10's with this car
