I'm looking for some wheel spacers or adapters, the kind that you bolt on the car and have another set of studs (like the ones pictured below), at least 1" thick (1.25 is good too)...Let me know what you have...
thank you,

Claude ;)

I forgot to mention that I'm looking for a bolt pattern of 4.75 to 4.75...

thanks,

Claude

I'm confused!

Wow...dunno what to do anymore...aside from Joe's (J-B Racing) post to a link to brand new ones @ $44.75... I've found these two other manufacturers: :

Wheel Adapters 5 Lug Mustang Cherokee They sell them for $69.95

and last ,these: 1.25" Billet Wheel Adapters, pairSkulte Performance Designs now these are $139.00

There's also a member who has some for sale and I offered him $50. but don't know what brand they are...I dunno what I should do!

-I keep thinking that with such big differences in price, shouldn't there be a difference in quality too?

Any help would be appreciated!...
Thanks,

Claude

Claude if I was you. The $44.75 would be my choice. No stress on Spacers!
Why spend $139.00 this vendor is way off course with his price. Damn it's only Spacers...
Your Call..:D

Thanks, Joe...

Joe you're probably right...it's just that I was wondering if there was a difference in quality to justify such big differences in price!... ...Maybe someone else on this board who's had some past experience with them would know??...

Thanks,

Claude

Claude,
You want hubcentric adaptors if you are going thicker than 1/4" because the hub takes much of the load off the studs. I'm a mechanical engineer and wouldn't buy anything else. You get what you pay for.

I've always purchased from ezaccessory. Looks just as good as any other product and they ship fast.

Had huge 2" adapters in the rear when I had my 18" wheels and never had a problem.

it would make more sense if you need them for the Front, as when using Skinnies they are too far inward. Using Spacers in the front, makes a better look when the wheels are flush with the rear!!

IMO:o

I bought some cheap ones off ebay and they wouldn't fit over the rear GN axle hub. They were also to be 1" thick but were actually 7/8" thick. Studs looked cheap. Naturally I returned them and considered them to be defective but still had to pay a 20% restocking fee!

I bought the Skulte ones - had a custom thickness done and hub-centric. Expensive, YES, but couldn't be more happy, made in USA and he knows the correct dimensions.

Correct me if I am wrong. When I made these the purpose was that a hub centric meant the wheel is centered by the hub and not the lugs. Therefore called hub centric.. The lugs just hold the wheel on. If you did not use the hub centric adapters your wheels are centered only by the lugs and not centered.

Joe ("J-B Racing"), I just noticed out that the spacers listed on the site you linked me to, were priced at $44.75 EACH!...so it comes at $89.50 + shipping for a PAIR making them about the same price as in one of the other links I posted...As for the last link posted (Skulte) at $139. they're completely out of the ballpark!...:D

I've finally found a used set at $50 shipped...
Thanks anyway for your reply...I just thought I'd let you know...
thanks,

Claude

For the record the ones from ezaccessory fit nicely on the GM hub and the lip on the rear brake drum, if worried about being "hub centric".
