When Timing an Engine.....

what do I need to do? I need to know where tdc or the degree is on our cars, and anything else that I may need know. I need to get my car going by tomorrow... or else.


I MAY be able to do a compression check tomorrow... well see

the tdc mark is on the ballancer. do you know how to hook up the timing light some may differ. to set the timing you point the timing light at the balancer and see where its set. just take the vac advance line off when you are doing this. i was told it should be set at 22 advance on my car.
