Actually, I disagree. The market on the TTA's are much weaker than the GN's IMO. Maybe it is stronger than it was a few years ago but it is still not as strong as the GN market.

the TR market is strong this is great for the owners but for the buyers yikes i trashed G/N Turbo ray for his 87 G/N with 692 original miles with simmons wheels for 27k until i found out that there worth every penny my mistake big time i just didnt realize there going for such $$$$$$;)

Are you still looking for a low mileage GN or are you now looking for a TTA? My 316 mile GN is for sale. If you are respond to this thread as I don't have email access at work. I had the GN on ebay 2 weeks ago but it did not meet reserve. I had a few post auction offers but nothing has materialized yet so it is still for sale.

I know you were looking for a TR before, is that not that case anymore? If you are still looking for a low mile TR my 11K mile HT GN is for sale. Feel free to email me at scottbianchi@hotmail.com if interested.

not really for sure right now i might go to carlilse this weekend for the all GM Nationals maybe there will be something to buy there!!

I've been watching for a TTA for about a year now also. They seem like a performance bargain. The problem I've found is finding something 40-80,000 mileish that is documented - complete (owners kit etc) that hasn't been extensively modified or is toaded out. It seems that you can buy under 4,000 mile cars for LOW 20s, or one that's been beaten on for 8,000. By the time you put a prime repaint, tires, interior repairs etc, you're REAL close to buying the "NEW" one. I don't really want another garage queen. And don't have the heart to modify a no/low mile car. Not that it's any different for any aspect of this hobby, we've nearly all got way more in our cars than what a near perfect one would bring, it's just with only 1,500 to choose from there just aren't enough to choose from :D. So should anyone know of of a well maintained, slightly modified or stock, no unibody sheetmetal replaced- complete TTA, please keep me in mind. Did any of that make sense  Thanks!

89 TTA's

That's all I did was look for the 89 TTA on the net that are for sale.
Only low mileage with T-Tops
there are still a ton of them anywhere from 12,500 - 47,000 whatever you want to spend.
They guy who said low 20's you can buy one that has less than 50 miles and has not even been registered or dealer inspected if you really look hard.
They are now bringing a PREMIUM price so are GN and esp GNX.
up to 70k for a new one.
I found no less than 20 TA's with less than 5,000 miles.

89 TTA MSRP $31,223.00
NADA values
low retail is $15,400
avg retail $19,100
high retail $23,400
kbb says $17,100

87 GNX MSRP $29,290.00
low retail $20,650
avg retail $28,950
high retail $39,025

Good luck!

these are current book values as of today Monday, June 16th, 2003

I think we talked before about this car, right? Your uncle has 2 low mileage ones and 1 driver right? So did you decide to buy one with more miles or just stick with the turbo regals?

and.............the point is................???

If you think the thread is useless why reply? It may be similar to another thread but those of us who have responded are still waiting for a response to our posts.

survey

why don't we do a survey of TTA owners and have them post their build number and mileage and condition
whoever started the registy for 89 TTA's has not put forth the effort that others have on other collector cars
Ex.
1980 Datsun 280ZX 10th Anniversary Black Gold 2500 made and 500 Black Red
3000 total
over 150 cars already are in the 280ZX 10 registry
you could have comments for
Cloth interior / Festival car
or Rare Hardtop with Leather like twobryans'
89 TTA 1 of 24 made.
and a for sale section too just like this awesome forum has!
and put lots of links to search engines that way any owner or someone researching is led in the proper direction, etc.
would be SOOO COOL!

Keith Thurston

he came up with the 280ZX 10 registry
also have a comments section
Original Owner etc.
62 miles etc.
showroom condition
open mso, never titled etc.
