What is so important about
Loctite 567?

Dunno thats why i am gonna try it... lots of people recommend it over the ARP PTFE based lube for sealing studs and bolts in the cylinder heads..... which i am in the middle of.... i have some ARP lube but wanted to try the Loctite hi-temp stuff after reading and searching the boards......

Man its hard to beat permatex #2 for sealing studs and bolts in the water jackets

Loctite also makes LTC1158514 Head Bolt & Water Jacket Seal

If Grainger's has something in their catalog but a local store doesn't have it in stock, they have always shipped it to the store for free, in my experience. Depending on where they have it, it may take an hour or a couple of days ... Also you can order from www.mcmaster.com.

I always use the thread sealer by permatax that's like less than $10 for what seems like a lifetime supply.
Is this another tb.com myth of some super secret stuff that puts all else to shame lol?
