Where Can You Buy Methanol In N. Ill?

Quick fix

Sherwin Williams sells alky for $7 a gallon. Otherwise local drag strip is $2 a gallon.

Also AMS in arlington hts now carries Methanol at $32 for a 5 gallon drum.

Thanks for the info. Once I get my leaking fuel tank replaced I am going tuning. Denatured Alky is way too expensive. Brad

Rural King???

Maybe not in Chicago, but a friend of mine did buy a 55gal drum of Methanol from Rural King. i think it cost him $60 or so. He has the BSFC gauge, and measured it against Torco's race methanol. It sounds like it was higher in H20 content, but for those guys who run windshield wiper fluid and whatever god awful combos this may be a better option.

So I'm assuming Tractor Supply corp, Rural King, or a store like that might have it???
