where does this plug go?

im in the process of putting my engine back together after a blown head gasket, but i dont remember unplugging this. it is by the firewall, under the ignition module. ive done some searches but cannot find what it is.

Looks like the EGR sensor plug. Is your EGR blocked off? Mine just lays there.

thats what i thought it might have been, since my egr is blocked off.
