I remember there being a member on this board with a MCSS gn hybrid... im doing one on my 85 cutlass and i wanted to ask a few questions. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

yeah thats the one!! i just wanted to know what i should leave in the car.... under the dash and what not.. as far as wireing goes... my engine and trany are out but the previous wires are still there.. i still have not removed the dash.... i also wanted to know if I needed to make any new holes for the LC2 motor mounts... thanks a lot

conversion

You need to remove all of the factory engine harness, there is a plug on the DS firewall which the harness mates to, the GN harness will plug right into place there but you need to change a few pins for fuel injector power (use the choke fuse terminal and swap them out) on the passenger side (PS) you need to route the GN harness to where the GN ecm will sit in the kick panel....

its pretty straight forward, any more questions just ask here

mounts should bolt right to the olds frame, check a local GN for the pattern I cant remember which ones they are, but you can figger it out

hope I am helping so far///:cool:

ok ok so far so good... i got the old wire harness out of the (ps) but im wonderisng if the plugs that remain under the dash will be the same for the GN?
