While the tank is off for a new pump I want to put new rubber under the tank straps. Anyone know a good place to get them?

While I'm at it should I replace the straps too? I found some stainless ones for 60 bucks.....

Those are pretty easy to find. If your straps are bad why not replace them. The same supplier should have the rubber as well.

I found quite a few straps online but none of those people had the rubber insulators.

My straps are painted black and I am going back to silver. I will try to clean them off but the rubber was painted too and is flaking off.

I bought the stainless straps and re-production isolators from Kirban. Both were VERY nice pieces. The isolators even have a small velcro strip on the inside to help them hold.

It's also a good time to grab some stainless steel fasteners from a local hardware store.

I can take pics tonight if you are interested.

I did not see the rubber on Kirbans site. The velcro is the same way the OEM rubbers were held together.

And the TR was the only car to use them. All other G-Bodies and other cars with in tank fuel pumps didn't use the rubber insulators.

DCVING - cool thanks. I just ordered from them. I looked this morning but couldn't find them on their site. The part numbers did the trick.
