Where to find GN's production numbers?

Where on the car do I look to find out what number my GN is out of 5500 + car's that was made that year 1986?

You can approximate by finding the build dates, should be a tag on the door with build info. on it.

If not sometimes there are dated sheets in the drivers door panel or under the back seat cushion. Or even heard of them being behind the underhood liner.

Date of production would give you an idea and the VIN number last digits give you what number in line the car was out of all the G bodies for that year.

Includes Chevies and Olds too I guess.
