i was wondering where would i look to find s2 motors for sale i'm sick of my car. it runs so bad. and i think i'm going to build a s2 motor from start to finish so i know exactly whats been done becasue i have a stock 3.8 with forged internals and stock p@p heads someone else did. and the car doesn't run right. also would it just be cheaper to build a turbo SBC or TT than to build a S2 motor. because i think thats what i'm going to do. i'm not looking to do anything right know i'm just looking around for options.

I think it really depends. Are you looking to get the parts and build one or are you looking to basically buy a crate motor built to your specs? Buying one built to your specs is going to be a lot easier. You can pretty much call any of the very well known stage builders and they can hook you up. Tell them what you want in it and your goals and they can build it. Probably cost you 15K-20K shipping in a crate to your door in 6-9 months depending on the build, available parts and how busy they are.

turbo on a 305?

would it be worth it to buy a turbo and put it on a 305? is it even possible? im know nothing about turbos, but im figuring i would need two (with a dual exhaust). how much do you think i would spend?

sorry for stealing the thread:(

How much for the engine that runs bad? I'm dying for a gn engine...

There's a lot more to a GN than just the motor. You'll need the wiring harness, transmission, computer, rear, fuel system, intercooler, etc. as well as the engine (just off the top of my head).

Depends on how much you want to spend. If you are looking for a poorly running stage II then you are still going to pay a lot. A poor running or any stock motor needing a rebuild isn't too bad. Not sure exactly the going rate but maybe a grand. Complete S2 that is blown but with nothing broken will probably cost you 10-20 times that amount depending on what it's got and how complete it is.

I’ve got no idea what it would take to turbo charge a 305 but you’ll probably end up spending the equivalent to twining a 350, which is about the price of a S2.

Hope that helps, I’m sure someone will disagree or correct me.
