I know this has been gone over and over but i am running a t-66 turbo with alky and i am looking to use a bov to help take some load off my thrust bearing and wanted to know where is the best place to mount this? would it be on the up pipe or on the I/C. and is the HKS SS the best one to use. thanks.

I think the best place is on the i/c tank driver side,
it will be easy to built a flange and weld in alum.

I've got mine located on the up-pipe between the tb and the ic....it was the easiest place to mount it.

I've been told closer to the throttle body will give better results, but mine is just after the intercooler (motor side) and I've got a powerstroke intercooler. I personally wouldn't want to mod an intercooler if it could be placed on an easily replacable pipe. I use the HKS SSQV.

Anyone tried the TIAL 50mm BOV?

I can send you some pics of mine if you want PM with your addy.

I also would recommend not spending the money on it, I am considering selling mine and bolting up a plate over the flange.
