Where to tap in boost gauge?

Are there any disadvantages / advantage to measuring boost at the vaccum block? It is attached with 1/8" npt thread.

Would it be better served off the turbo?

Intake ONLY... The Block is fine. Never at the Turbo. The reading at Turbo is much lower and that is not where you measure your Boost.

Ya.. I could be wrong. Don't quite remember anymore. I did the same mistake when I first installed a Boost gauge way back 1991..
