Which alternator to choose?

My alternator gave out and I was looking over possible replacements and found these two I am considering.

They both have a 1 yr warranty.

The 140 amp one seems like the obvious choice for max charging, but the chrome one seems like it would look good in the engine bay. If anyone has other recommendations that would also help.

Honestly...I would be very skeptic of a chrome alternator for that price. It's hard enough to find a reliable unit that's not dressed up at that price.
Summit carries the MSD and others. You can get the looks and amps your wanting for not much more $$$.

get yours rebuilt locally... better parts, better work, better customer service...

get one from a 4.5 or 4.9 litre cadillac engine they are 120 or 140 amp and a direct bolt in.

Got mine from turbobuicks.com haven't had any issues with it. Well I did have to add an extra ground to it
